Print Sealing & Lamination

To enhance the longevity and durability of your prints, we offer two professional finishing methods: Lamination and Varnish Sealing. Both options provide excellent protection against UV, moisture, and surface damage—ideal for works displayed in public or high-touch environments.

Lamination (Protective Film Seal)

Our lamination process involves applying a clear protective film to the surface of your print. Available in Matt, Satin, Gloss, or Ultra Gloss finishes, this method offers robust protection while preserving colour fidelity and fine detail. Laminated prints can be safely touched and gently cleaned using a microfibre or lint-free cloth.

This is the most common sealing method for mounted prints and is especially suited to photographic or smooth art papers.

Varnish Seal (Spray Coating)

For textured fine art papers that cannot be laminated, we offer a liquid varnish seal, applied evenly by spray. Available in Matt or Satin, this option protects the print while enhancing the natural texture of the paper. Varnished prints can be lightly cleaned with a soft microfibre cloth.

Please note: Varnished prints must be mounted to a rigid substrate to prevent curling or buckling.
